To protect customers and maintain high standards, all Taskee Heroes must complete a simple verification process before accepting bookings.
Why verification is required
Taskee works with people entering customers’ homes. Verification ensures:

✓ Maintain safety and trust on the platform
✓ Give customers confidence when booking
We only request the minimum documents required by UK law — nothing unnecessary.
What you’ll need to provide
1. Basic details
Your full name and email address.
2. Photo ID
Passport or driving licence (national ID where applicable).
3. Right to work in the UK
• UK citizens: passport or driving licence
• Non-UK citizens: valid Right to Work share code or visa document
4. Public liability insurance (optional)
You can upload insurance documents if you have them — recommended but not required.
Important information
Taskee Heroes operate as independent, self-employed service providers. Heroes are responsible for their own taxes and National Insurance contributions.
Taskee charges a platform service fee of 2.5% per completed booking, confirmed during verification.
How we protect your information
Your documents are:
• Strictly confidential
• Only visible to the Taskee verification team
• Never shared with customers or other users
We follow UK GDPR. All information is stored securely and used only for verification and legal compliance purposes.
Verification timeline
Most applications are reviewed within:
• 24–72 hours
• If anything is missing, we will email you.
