This Hero Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:

Taskee Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales Company Number: 16996357 Registered Office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, England

and

The individual service provider registered on the Taskee platform (“Hero”, “you”, “your”).

1. Purpose of This Agreement

This Agreement governs your use of the Taskee platform as an independent service provider (“Hero”). By creating a Hero account, submitting verification documents, or accepting bookings, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree, you must not provide services through Taskee.

2. Independent Contractor Status

You acknowledge and agree that:

You operate as an independent, self-employed contractor

You are not an employee, worker, agent, or partner of Taskee

Taskee does not provide employment, guaranteed work, or income

You are responsible for how, when, and where services are performed

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment or agency relationship.

3. Eligibility & Verification

To operate as a Hero, you must:

Be 18 years or older

Provide accurate and complete registration information

Successfully complete Taskee’s verification process

Verification may include:

proof of identity

proof of right to work in the UK (where applicable)

additional documents required by law or platform policy

Taskee may suspend or remove access if verification requirements are not met or documents expire.

4. Taxes & National Insurance

You are solely responsible for:

declaring income earned through Taskee

paying all applicable taxes and National Insurance contributions

complying with HMRC requirements

Taskee does not deduct tax or NI and does not provide tax advice.

5. Insurance

Heroes are required to hold appropriate public liability insurance where required by law or industry standards.

Insurance must cover the services you provide

Proof of insurance may be requested at any time

Failure to maintain required insurance may result in suspension or removal

Uploading insurance documents may be optional during onboarding but remains your responsibility.

6. Bookings & Service Delivery

You are responsible for reviewing and accepting bookings

Accepted bookings must be honoured

You must perform services with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism

You provide your own equipment, materials, and transport unless agreed otherwise

Taskee does not supervise or control how services are performed.

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

You must notify Taskee as soon as possible if unable to attend a booking

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in:

warnings

restricted access

suspension

permanent removal from the platform

8. Payments & Platform Fees

All bookings and payments must be processed through Taskee.

Heroes must not:

request or accept cash payments

accept off-platform payments

move bookings introduced through Taskee outside the platform

Platform Fees

For each completed booking:

2.5% service fee is charged to the Customer

2.5% service fee is charged to the Hero

Fees are deducted automatically.

Platform fees may change with prior notice. Any changes will be communicated via the platform before taking effect.

9. Off-Platform Work Prohibition

You must not:

redirect customers away from Taskee

exchange contact details to bypass fees

offer discounts to avoid platform charges

Violation may result in immediate account termination.

10. Quality Standards & Conduct

You must:

act professionally and respectfully

comply with all applicable laws and regulations

avoid discrimination, harassment, or unsafe behaviour

Taskee may investigate complaints and take action where necessary.

11. Monitoring & Enforcement

Taskee may monitor platform activity to ensure compliance. Actions may include:

account warnings

booking restrictions

suspension

permanent removal

12. Liability

Taskee:

is not responsible for the performance of services

does not guarantee earnings or bookings

is not liable for acts or omissions of Heroes

You are responsible for any claims arising from your services.

13. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time.

Taskee may suspend or terminate access immediately if this Agreement is breached.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
